We understand the needs, fears, and stress related to caregiving
The family of support for those that support their family. We want to offer caregivers a circle of friendship. We want you to have the opportunity to share your challenges and experiences. We want to provide fellowship, information, resources and genuinely listen and assist you throughout this journey.
Caregivers find it easy to forget about their own needs, which is why caregivers often experience high stress levels, depression and other health problems. We want to encourage you to not neglect exercise, healthy eating and sleep. We want you to take time for activities you enjoy. You need to keep up your energy and stay well to care for others.
Life as a caregiver can be extremely draining and taxing but also extremely rewarding. We recognize the sheer amount of work that caregivers provide for others and we'd like to help. Meeting other caregivers can relieve your sense of isolation and will give you a chance to exchange stories and ideas.
As a caregiver, I need the grace to be loving even when I do not love all that I am asked to do. It is extremely difficult to watch the one I love slowly lose their ability to care for themself and to witness their pain. More is demanded of my time and sometimes there just doesn't seem to be enough of that in the day to tend to all that needs to be done. Help me prioritize my day with being present to my him/her as I care for his/her needs. Ultimately, at the end of the day when I lay my head on my pillow, I want to say I lived this day with love.
Being a caregiver is an enormous privilege, thank You. Many times the duties take all I have, and there is nothing left to give. I sometimes feel discouraged until I remember that You are the one who placed me here and have given me this responsibility.
Thank You for trusting me with the precious role of caring for another. Infuse me with Your strength when a crisis saps my energy; comfort me when I am lonely and fearful. Remind me that You are the Great Protector and that You are holding me and my family safely in your hands.
Thank You for trusting me with the precious role of caring
Bless me with Your patience and understanding and the ability to truly listen

My husband passed away recently after suffering excruciating pain for more than 3 years. His pain was so bad that he barely ate and lost his ability to walk and care for himself.
I spent many nights taking care of him while working full-time. These past few years - especially through Covid, were difficult.
All I could think about was findi

All I could think about was finding others in my community to talk to, pray with, and get support. We want to help.
